Empowering Our Mission Through Program Support

Empowering Our Mission Through Program Support

By supporting Scenic Bluffs, you play a crucial role in furthering our mission and ensuring that health needs—both personal and public—are met. As a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, your contributions to Scenic Bluffs are tax-deductible under IRC 170(c)(3) of the U.S. Tax Code.

We are currently seeking donations to further support three of our community programs: School Oral Health Program, Self-Monitoring Blood Pressure Program, and Community CPR/First Aid Education Classes.

  • Scenic Bluffs’ School Oral Health Program provides free, preventive dental care for students in participating school districts across the region in the fall and spring. Participating students receive an oral health review, dental sealants and fluoride varnish, as needed, from a licensed dental professional. Additionally, students receive oral health education and a toothbrush to take home. We are currently seeking donations to help fund oral health kits for students, which include a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss.
  • Scenic Bluffs began a self-monitoring blood pressure program (SMBP) for patients in 2023, through an American Heart Association program. This program is aimed to increase patient's awareness of their blood pressure, accuracy of their readings, and improve their health outcomes by providing them with the equipment to use at home.  By having access to blood pressure monitoring equipment in your home, you can measure your blood pressure at different times throughout the day and over a longer period of time. With the success of this program, Scenic Bluffs is seeking donations to help fund the purchase for additional SMBP kits for take-home use. The kit is packaged with a blood pressure cuff, instructions, educational materials, a calendar/log and a pen. Participating patients also receive a tutorial on how to use the device and how to log and collect data.
  • Scenic Bluffs offers CPR/First Aid education and certification for community members. We are thrilled that certification classes continue to grow, but are in need of additional equipment to support these classes. We are currently seeking donations to purchase CPR mannequins.
