Impacting Community Health

Impacting Community Health

Since 1994, Scenic Bluffs Community Health Centers has remained grounded in a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves access to high-quality healthcare. We know that strong communities begin with access to comprehensive, compassionate care—and every day, we work to remove the barriers that stand in the way of good health.

We’re proud to share our 2024 Community Impact Report, highlighting the remarkable work made possible by our dedicated staff, trusted community partners, and the individuals and families we serve. Over the past year, we cared for more than 9,500 people across nearly 39,000 patient visits. In collaboration with 50 local schools and Head Start programs, we provided no-cost dental services, on-site behavioral health support, and school nursing care. Our health education team offered training in CPR, first aid, preventive care, nutrition, and overall healthy living. Meanwhile, our Patient Access Coordinators helped over 400 individuals gain insurance coverage, ensuring they could access the care they need.

These numbers reflect more than data—they represent stories of real impact: children visiting the dentist for the first time, families receiving mental health support, and seniors obtaining life-saving medications. Each of these stories reminds us why our mission matters.

2024 was also a year of growth and evolution. We expanded services, added providers, and deepened our focus on whole-person care. Thanks to support from the Allied Health Professional Education and Training Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, our Behavioral Health department became a training site for future mental health professionals, strengthening the rural healthcare workforce.

As we look to the year ahead, we remain committed to advancing health equity, improving access, and serving our communities with compassion and excellence. None of this is possible without you—our patients, staff, and partners. Thank you for being a part of our journey.

If you’d like to support our mission, you can serve on our board, become a health center advocate, or make a donation. Contributions can be made online at www.scenicbluffs.org/Donate or by mail to Scenic Bluffs Community Health Centers, 238 Front Street, Cashton, WI 54619. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3), every gift helps us continue building a healthier future for all.
