What is Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)?

At Scenic Bluffs, the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program combines Suboxone therapy for individuals in the maintenance phase of their Suboxone treatment, with education, and supportive care to help with several medical and non-medical issues. Providing a whole-patient approach to the treatment of opiate use disorders. 

What does it treat?

  • Buprenorphine/Naloxone (Suboxone) treatment for opiate use disorder
  • Naltrexone (Vivitrol) monthly injections for opiate or alcohol use disorder
  • Sublocade monthly subcutaneous injection for opiate abuse.

How to Enroll

Scenic Bluffs offers induction to the MAT program after an extensive history is taken.

To enroll in the MAT program at Scenic Bluffs, individuals will need to call Scenic Bluffs and indicate that they are interested in our Suboxone or MAT program, where they will speak to the RN MAT Coordinator for information and scheduling.

They will then go through an admissions process for the program with one of our MAT providers. Once admitted, they will then meet with the RN MAT Coordinator, where the consents and assessments will be completed to better understand the patient’s needs
