See How We’re Making a Difference: Learn About Our Community Impact

As we reflect on the past 30 years, we are filled with pride and gratitude for the opportunity to serve and support our vibrant community. Our mission has always been to support healthier people and communities by providing accessible, patient-centered care and tackling issues that affect the health of our communities.

Since 1994, Scenic Bluffs has been dedicated to the belief that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare. We know that healthier communities are built on the foundation of accessible, comprehensive care, and we strive to eliminate the obstacles that stand in the way of good health. Today, we are excited to share our latest Community Impact Report, showcasing the incredible work we've accomplished in the past year.

In 2023, we provided care for more than 7,000 people in our region through nearly 29,000 patient visits. In 25 local schools and Headstart programs, we provided health services including no-cost dental sealant and fluoride services, on-site behavioral health appointments and/or school nursing services. Our health education team taught community members about life saving measures (such as CPR and first aid), preventive care, nutrition, and healthy living, among others. Our Patient Access Coordinators enrolled nearly 500 individuals in health insurance, ensuring they have access to the care they need.

Behind these numbers are the stories of individuals and families whose lives have been positively impacted by our programs and services. From children receiving their first dental check-up to seniors gaining access to vital medications, each story is a testament to the importance of our mission and the difference we are making together and will continue to make. With the expansion of providers and service locations over the past year, we are excited to serve even more people in 2024. As we reach the halfway mark of the year, we are proud to report that we have already surpassed the number of patient encounters from 2023. We eagerly anticipate continuing to broaden our care and deepen our impact in the community.
