Expanding Access to Behavioral Health Services

Expanding Access to Behavioral Health Services

In an effort to promote mental health and reduce barriers to care throughout our region, Scenic Bluffs Community Health Centers has more than doubled the size of its behavioral health counseling staff, recently welcoming four new counselors available to see patients. New providers include Carrie Baumgartner, CSW, LPC; Chris Johnson, APSW; and Debra Murray, PsyD, CSAC, ICS; and Teresa Nundahl, LPC.

Appointments are now available for scheduling in Cashton and Norwalk. Those interested in scheduling an appointment with one of our behavioral health counselors can request an appointment in two easy ways: online at www.scenicbluffs.org/BH or by calling Scenic Bluffs at 608-654-5100.  An experienced counselor will call within two business days.

Counseling staff at Scenic Bluffs offer services that promote effective communication, symptom relief, problem solving, personal growth and healing. Behavioral Health services are provided in both English and Spanish through a variety of appointment types, such as in-person, virtual, or school-based.

In addition to behavioral health services, Scenic Bluffs offers medical, dental, chiropractic, massage therapy and pharmacy services. Scenic Bluffs is a non-profit, community-based healthcare provider, delivering primary care and complementary therapy services for patients in the region. Scenic Bluffs accepts most private insurance, Wisconsin Medicaid, Medicare, those without insurance and offers a sliding-fee scale program to those who qualify.
