Teresa Nundahl, LPC, is a behavioral health therapist who is passionate about supporting older adults through the emotional, cognitive, and life stage challenges that come with aging.  She brings a warm, grounded, and collaborative presence to her work, creating a space where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered.  Teresa received her Master of Science Degree in Community Counseling from Winona State University and has worked in the Community Mental Health and Outpatient Therapy.  Teresa integrates a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Accelerate Resolution Therapy (ART) to meet each client’s unique needs.

Teresa's approach is strengths-based and practical, helping individuals build resilience, process past experiences, and enhance their well-being in meaningful ways.  With specialized experience in the geriatric population, Teresa supports clients navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, chronic stress, adjustment to health changes, and major life transitions.  She is committed to honoring each person’s story and partnering with them to cultivate healing, confidence, and improved quality of life. 

Hobbies & Personal Interests

Outside of her work, Teresa enjoys spending time in ways that keep her grounded and connected.  She enjoys reading, spending quality time with her family and relaxing with her dogs.  Teresa also enjoys being outdoors, whether it’s out on the water boating, exploring on the UTV, or simply taking a peaceful walk.  These hobbies bring balance, joy, and a sense of calm to her life, which she carries into her work with clients.
