Carrie believes in treating the whole person, recognizing the strong connection between physical and mental health. She has experience helping individuals navigate a variety of health conditions that can affect emotional well-being, including trauma, neurological and neurocognitive disorders, diabetes, respiratory conditions, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and caregiver fatigue.
Clinical Approach
Carrie’s approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized to each person’s needs. She utilizes Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, Somatic Exercises, Motivational Interviewing, Distress Tolerance skills, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Brainspotting to help clients process difficult experiences, build resilience, and achieve meaningful, lasting change.
