Scenic Bluffs provides curbside COVID-19 testing by appointment at our Cashton Health Center. Appointments are available Monday-Friday. Where is curbside COVID-19 testing located?
- Scenic Bluffs' curbside COVID-19 testing and repiratory clinic is located on Park Street on the side of our Cashton Health Center.
- Please park in designated parking slots on the side of the Health Center.
Is COVID-19 testing free at Scenic Bluffs?
- Most insurances cover the cost of an appointment for COVID-19 testing.
- If you are receiving testing due to an external organization requiring it (employer, school, etc.) your insurance may not cover and you are responsible for any costs accrued.
- If your insurance does not cover the cost of COVID-19 testing, you may be charged for an office visit, lab and/or specimen handling fee.
- Our Healthy Neighbor Plan sliding-fee scale does apply to COVID-19 testing.
- You can request a waiver of charges if you cannot afford testing and it is not covered by your insurance.
Do you have to be a patient of Scenic Bluffs to get tested for COVID-19?
- No, anyone can get tested for COVID-19 at Scenic Bluffs.
- All curbside COVID-19 testing is by appointment only.

Do I have to have COVID-19 symptoms to be tested?
- No, anyone can get tested for COVID-19, for any reason.
- Those without symptoms will receive lab only testing. They will not see a provider.
- If you are receiving testing due to an external organization requiring it (employer, school, etc.), your
- insurance may not cover the cost and you are responsible for any costs accrued.

Is it the testing only or will I need to see a provider?
- COVID-19 testing at Scenic Buffs is a curbside office visit with a provider. These visits are by appointment only, and can be scheduled by calling 608-654-5100.
Is this a rapid test or a PCR test?
- Scenic Bluffs offers both rapid and PCR COVID-19 testing options.
- Our rapid test can also test for influenza. If the rapid test is negative, they will also run a PCR test to verify the results, as PCR is more accurate.
What is the turnaround time for results?
- The rapid test provides results within 15 minutes.
- PCR tests can take up to 72 hours for results.
