Training & Certifications

Dr. Karen Cecele earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where she participated in the Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine (WARM) program. She completed her Family Medicine residency through the University of Wisconsin, including the Rural Health Equity Track, which focused on improving healthcare access and outcomes in rural communities. Her training provided extensive experience in comprehensive primary care, preventive medicine, and the management of both acute and chronic health conditions.

Special Interests (Areas of Focus)

Dr. Cecele is passionate about preventive healthcare and helping patients achieve their long-term wellness goals. Her clinical interests include the management of chronic conditions, women’s health, chronic pain management, and partnering with patients to develop individualized care plans that support healthy lifestyles and improved quality of life. She values building lasting relationships with patients and providing compassionate, patient-centered care across all stages of life.

Hobbies & Personal Interests

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Cecele enjoys spending time outdoors kayaking and hiking. She also enjoys sewing and reading, appreciating both the creativity and relaxation these activities provide.
