Training & Certifications

After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Bill completed his Master of Science degree in Community Counseling from Winona State University. He is licensed to practice in Wisconsin as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. Additionally, Bill spent more than 12 years as an undergraduate and graduate program professor in Psychology and Mental Health counseling programs. 

Special Interests (Areas of Focus)

Bill offers more than 40 years of experience as a counselor, working with children, adolescents and adults with mental health and substance use disorders. He has special interest in treating anxiety and mood disorders, substance use disorders, OCD, Borderline Personality Disorder and Complex Psychiatric Presentation for ages 8 and up. 

Hobbies & Personal Interests

In his free time, Bill enjoys mountain biking and road bicycling, kayaking, hiking and music (playing and listening). He also enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors.
