As part of our commitment to providing affordable, accessible healthcare, Scenic Bluffs operates a School Oral Health program that brings dental care directly to our community’s schools and Head Start programs. This program provides dental sealants and fluoride treatments to students during the school day—at no cost to families. Services are offered twice a year, in both the fall and spring.
As of the 2024-2025 school year, Scenic Bluffs partners with 50 area schools and Head Start locations, making it easier for children to receive critical dental care without the need for transportation or missing valuable school time.

At select schools, students also receive a dental cleaning. Parents are notified of the services their child receives through a letter that includes suggestions for follow-up care if needed. Scenic Bluffs helps families arrange additional dental appointments when necessary.
The Mobile School Oral Health program is available to all students at participating schools, regardless of whether they have dental insurance or an established dentist. For students who already see a dentist, or already have sealants, our Dental Hygienists check and repair sealants as needed, and fluoride treatments are also provided.
From screenings and education to preventive treatments, the Mobile School Oral Health program helps prevent cavities and supports lifelong oral health. By bringing care directly to kids, Scenic Bluffs ensures more families can access these essential services, helping to build healthier smiles and brighter futures in our community.
