Scenic Bluffs is committed to building strong communities. We do this in part by giving back through local community sponsorships, donations, and employee fundraising for specific causes. Our staff also participate in more than 50 local and state-wide groups, boards and coalitions.
Through a monthly staff fundraiser, Scenic Bluffs was able to continue our Warm Winter program again this winter, keeping our waiting room stocked with hats, mittens, scarves and blankets for patients in need. “One of the best parts of my job is to watch Scenic Bluffs reinvest in our communities through building connections with local programs that are important to our neighbors and patients,” says Samantha Knutson, Public Relations Specialist with Scenic Bluffs. “Our staff are highly invested in creating programs to meet patient needs, developing new program ideas frequently.” Some of the initiatives employee fundraising has supported include gas cards for patient transportation to appointments, books for children during well-child visits, and paying off local school lunch debt, among others.
Scenic Bluffs also supports fundraising initiatives for local organizations. We recently had the opportunity to support organizations our employees were part of, such as the Westby High School Volleyball Pink Night, Norwalk PTA Ladies Night Out, and the Cashton Library Christmas Gala. We continue to support local initiatives that align with our mission of creating healthy and strong communities.
