Technolog-E Recycling Event

5th Annual Technolog-E Recycling Event
5th Annual Technolog-E Recycling Event

Scenic Bluffs has made substantial investments over the past four years to improve environmental health in the communities we serve. One of the most notable efforts includes the annual Technolog-E Recycling event, held at Scenic Bluffs in Cashton every August during National Health Center Week.

Since the first Technolog-E Recycling event in 2016, nearly 120,000 pounds of recyclable electronics have been collected from Cashton and surrounding communities and kept out of landfills. With the help of community sponsors, this investment in safer recycling totals more than $22,000 since 2016 and provides safe disposal of unwanted electronics, free of cost, locally. Through Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations in Onalaska, every portion of the recycled electronics is reused, avoiding waste and protecting our landfills from harmful toxins.

Why we care:
Responsible disposal of waste helps keeps our air, soil and water supplies safe. Keeping harmful chemicals and equipment out of landfills and from being dumped in ditches is important for the environment and public health.

Our 5th Annual Technolog-E Recycling Event will be held on Tuesday, August 11th from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Scenic Bluffs in Cashton.
